The word Ayurveda comes from two Sanskrit words:
Ayur meaning "life" and Veda meaning "knowledge", "science" or "wisdom".
In the Indian culture, Ayurveda literally means the "science of life". In this sense, Ayurvedic products have been developed along the guidelines of the Ayurvedic tradition.
The name literally can be translated as "Herbal Wisdom".
