The incense sticks are produced in the ancient hand rolled method, with each stick individually created. When making Auroshikha incense a large round ball of soft incense "dough" is used. This incense dough is similar to freshly kneaded baking dough in appearance, and from it each stick is rolled out. The incense "dough" spreads along the thin bamboo stick with a continual rolling by the fingers.
But even while the True to Nature™ incense fragrances are carried upon a very ancient method of spreading fragrance, their scents are unique. For their origin as a fragrance style is modern, with a French integrality that includes a psychic element in all Auroshikha aromas. They are all pure, light and inspiring, in the way that France has become the center of perfumery in the modern world.

As there are many traditional and new ingredients added to the charcoal of the Auroshikha incense stick, for burning, True to Nature™ incense is a combination of both eastern and modern western approaches to its manufacture.

The True to Nature fragrances are created primarily through a mixing of essential oils, instead of the mixing of plant parts, barks, roots etc. This use of essential oils allows for the creation of a more simple fragrance note, a fragrant composition very distinct in style from the highly complex compositions of traditional incense.

The original art of incense making was not to reproduce nature alone. It was to bring out the soul element, or "psychic"consciousness of Nature as well. As there is a fundamental yet spiritual composite at the very basis of matter, it is possible to re-create this experience of the psychic wildness of Nature in a perfume made from essential oils. It is in the blending of the essential oils that brings about the particular Auroshikha lightness of scent, with never too much smoke, creating a basis for the fragrance to spread happily throughout a room and bring about a soothing atmosphere.

And with 31 fragrances, there is ample scope for every occasion: divided into four families of fragrance, there is a wide possibility for variation.

The woody/resin family of Auroshikha incense includes a Sandalwood fragrance that is simply the best in the world.
In the floral familyof Auroshikha all fragrances are true to the nature of their origin, the flowers. The Auroshikha rose fragrance has the perfume of a natural rose. It is with these flower fragrances that the French influence is most keenly felt, where we find ourselves in an incomparable garden of meditative wildness.
The third family of True to Nature™ incense is the exotic/spicy group, all reminiscent of our stronger feelings of emotion and passion. Floral Musk, Vanilla and Almond have the quality of a simple yet wildly strong scent, rich in character and wild in depth.
Finally, the family of earthy incense fragrances. Patchouli and Lemongrass are good examples of the body of an Earth who is the divine Mother. She wears fragrances as varied as Her charm, for She is the divine as a Female. This group expresses the divinity in matter.

The Auroshikha style of fragrance composition follows a French tradition brought by the Master perfumer. It is this that makes the incense fragrances pure, light and inspiring. With very little smoke and clear fragrance notes, Auroshikha is perfect for rooms where ordinary incense is too strong. The Rose scent reminds one of the garden flower because the base is of pure ingredients that does not distort the fragrance of the basic essential oils.
